Course Volunteers

are needed to be out and about along the course to guide participants, to encourage them to keep going and to be a cheerleader!  For this position, we would love to have high-energy folks who love encouraging people and who want to do something that is completely unique.

Registration Volunteers

are needed to help check in registered participants and answer questions from participants and park visitors.  This is a great position for people who are organized and want to help.  We could also use volunteers to help us with our packet pickup events which will be scheduled the week before the race.

We are looking for friendly, helpful people to fill these positions.  We will need you to come early and help with setup.

Photography Volunteers

are needed to help take photographs of the race.  During the event, we need photographers to be along the course taking photos, at the finish line and of course on the mall!

Volunteers should have their own camera but if not, we could provide one to you for the event.

Aid Station

Volunteers are needed to provide water to the runners.  Water is a very important component for any race.  We will have water stations available at the start/end location as well as somewhere along the course.  This is a good opportunity for groups and families.

Aid Station volunteers offer refreshment and encouragement to racers at the designated aid station location. Volunteers are responsible for setting up their aid station (all materials are provided) at a designated spot.  Volunteers are responsible for cleaning up cups and other litter near their area throughout the event and repacking the aid station materials when the race is finished. Adults may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

The best part of this post… you get to cheer for the racers and they will be glad to see you and grab a drink!  Volunteers should be encouraging and able to lift coolers of water.

Volunteers are greatly needed to make this event a success!

If you are a student, service credit will be given for your volunteer hours.  Please let us know in the email that you are doing this for service credit and the procedures set by your school.
